In The Memory - Poem by Ranock Saing

After you’re gone
I’ll live life and go on
But know that you’ll never be forgotten
You will always be with me until my life ends
Thoughts of you will be in my mind constantly
Our memories will always be with me
Even though we’ll be far apart
Just know the place you’ll always be is my heart
Sadness soon would conceal
But never will my heart be completely heal
No one can see the pain inside
Or see why it wasn’t me that died
My eyes filled with angry tears
A bitter person with endless fears
It was you that saw what I was going through
The person that had soggy shoulders from my tears was you
When we were little we used to play ring around the rosie
We used to have our pockets full of poesies
At the mall, we took cute, funny photographs
Lunch time, we ate and laugh
In the morning, before school, we solicited in the school hall
You would always beat me at swimming and basketball
Everything seems to be different day after day
I wish I could go back and wish you weren’t so far away
While you were gone, things has changed
Life is unpredictable and strange
As life goes on, I hope I’m getting better
My feelings can’t all express in one letter
One thing I won’t do is pretend that I’m all right
Tears tend to fall down every night
Everyone misses you so
How much you’ll never know
Loosing you result me in a great pain
It’ll always leave me with endless vain
Even though I can’t bring the things that’s been done
You’ll always be my number one
No matter what, you’ll always be loved
Because you’re an angel that God had sent from up above
I wish I had seen God’s plan
So you wouldn’t leave all us questioned and unable to understand
There are many things to accomplish and mountains to climb
All I have to do is think and taking a slow step at a time
While living, you made it worthwhile
It always brought my face with a smile
You’ll always be in my mind
As I walk, I’ll pretend it’s you that’s behind
Recently you left me with such a big blur
Sometimes I can’t quite understand it for sure
I’ve always loved your face
And how your mom’s cheese cake taste
Although you’ve left this world
You’re always going to be precious than diamonds and pearls
Now you’ve been blessed
Miss me even though you’re at rest…
