In The Mirror Poem by Jennifer Helton

In The Mirror

Rating: 4.0

In the mirror she sees, a face
A face of a girl that has lost herself
Stuck in ties and alabies
She continues to grow, although
Lost in distraction there seems to be,
All is lost.
Then she looks again, she knows she matters
And now she will rise above,
Above all that brings her down.
