In a grain of sugar
Dances evergreen
The sugarcane crop
In a grain of salt
Murmurs softly
The azure sea
In an iron nail
Sings in a low key
The mineral soil
In a notebook page
A thick forest
Stands in crowd
To watch
The open skies hidden
Under the façade of letters.
