In The Society Of The Deciduous Poem by Laura Lee (Davis) Snyder

In The Society Of The Deciduous

Rating: 5.0

Maple matrons
pull on fine velvet gloves
moss green
over lichen-roughed skin.
Trailing fern boas
sway with their stately walk
in courtly promenade
to the rain harp pluck
of crystal drip
drop.
