In The Town Paper Poem by Dorina Neculce

In The Town Paper

sleeping on the streets
wander chased shadows
searching through the same dream wings
we wake up with blood curdled
fall into the sunset with the fists filled with butterflies
fly obscurity same same irreplaceable
days go passing nights under smoldering cry
the bitter snows heart stop on the wire
as to rest the bones of ancestors
lost forgotten demolished
subjected to sleep without a century

the deserted street just shadows
creatures of the night have stopped
another drowned in paradise
from conception to voice shadow
dreams of ghosts among
wings defeated
