In This Temporal World Poem by RIC BASTASA

In This Temporal World

in this temporal world
i, too, must keep a name
i, too, must be someone
you can call
me, but then, soon, and
we do not really know when,
we shall realize
there is this oneness
beyond the splits
and splinters
we feel it
we look for it

over there, over there
the voice keeps calling
