In This World Poem by Haritima Sharma

In This World

Rating: 5.0

In this deceitful world,
What are the cures?
To the wounds of betrayal,
inflicted by yours.

In this crooked world,
Where will you go?
When your dearest friend,
turns out to be a foe.

In this resentful world,
How will you survive?
When you keep trusting the surface,
Without the inside.

In this wicked world,
What will you do?
Who can you truly trust,
Except you?

This one is added to the list of my favourite poems. It is so honest, emotional and obnoxious that it the readers too. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful piece of poetry, Haritima.
