In This World Poem by Marjorie L. Clark

In This World

In this world we have trials and tribulations
That cause us worry, pain and grief
But compared to our home in heaven eternal
Our struggles on earth are very brief God has promised never to forsake us
Or give us more than we can bear
Oh, Father, grant us peace and comfort
And shelter us in thy loving care Please give us the courage to continue
Until our work on earth is through
And when our journey is completed
You'll call us home to live with you
