In Time.
So much of
a human's life
Is spent
chasing that
which is not
there, ghost!
We keep on
Forgetting
that it is
our story
This world needs
to hear of
the most
From birth we
kept following
everyone,
listening to
everything
they say
Beating ourselves
up believing
that no one
listens to prayers
We need to
notice
For how long
night has been
chasing the day
While never
complaining
just obeying
and following
That which he
believes
whoever's in charge
of existence says
We have even
failed to notice
how often
The sun comes
out to play
Then quickly
she hides
A sign the moon
is on the way
throughout
their lifetime
trees gives up
many a seed
Humankind spends
a lifetime
Still not knowing
the difference
between what
he wants
and that which
he needs.
In Time.
