POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
No greater love has anyone than to lay down their life in witness to the compassion and love of our Lord Jesus Christ. Father Francis Canavan and six other priests of the Missionary society of Saint Columban lay down their lives in Korea in 1950. All Missionaries of Saint Columban - Priests, Sisters, Brothers, Lay give thanks to God for the privilege of sharing the joy of the Gospelin many culltures.
