In You Poem by connie crane

In You

Ah, my Lord, in You there is no fear,
Only freedom.
In You, all that I AM
Is all I can become.
In You, I am infinite and infinitely apparent.
In You, I am perfect and perfectly inherent.
In You, I am compelled to see beyond the mere physical,
To live and love and hope and dream for something more ethereal.
In You, my soul sings its songs of endless exultation.
In You, rapture flows from my soul’s adoration.
In You, is the end of all that hinders,
My soul’s flight to ecstasy.
In You, even discord transcends to harmony.
In You, is peace as deep and impenetrable,
As the silence above the clouds.
It reaches from horizon to horizon,
The whole earth it enfolds.
In You, all things are one while each is defined by its uniqueness.
“No two snow flakes are the same, ”
Yet, each alike in their completeness.
In You, I live and breath and have my being.
In You, I’m not just looking,
My eyes are actually seeing.
Ah, my Lord, in You there is no wanting,
Only having.
