In Your Midst Yet Alone Poem by Keamogetswe Molapo

In Your Midst Yet Alone

Rating: 4.5

Around you I roam
Trying to make sense of life as I moan
But I realise that I don't have it
Oh God please goad

My soul is crying out
Please help I'm lost
This pain I'm feeling
Can't take no more
I can't speak though my heart is so full
This is not who I am
I bottle all inside and hope you'll all read me

From childhood I've carried this burden
My youth I did not enjoy
Oh God please goad
This load I can't carry no more
No one sees, no one senses

I carry it oh so well
A smile I wear each day
My head up in the clouds
All seems so well
I know for sure
That I'm in your midst yet so alone

Thanks Yoonoos and Mo - was going through a rough patch and being a 'close book' that I am, I knew that no one noticed what I was going through because I was always wearing and a smile and goign on as if all was well. Thank God for breakthroughs.
