Dear Lord, in Your presence we feel so small
But You lift us up and let us stand tall
Of all Your creations You gave us a choice to follow You
In Your presence we can smile even when life is uphill
You gave us soft words to speak to another
You gave us friendly strangers to pass our way
Dear Lord, help us to think before we hurt another
Let us remember the kind words of Jesus
Let us remember that He died for us on the cross
Dear Lord, You hear the words we don’t speak
You feel the pain we don’t show
You see the tears we cry in the rain
You see the steps we miss in the dark
Dear Lord, please take over our daily thoughts
Please keep us from harm that await us around the corner
Dear Lord, without You we will be nothing
Without Your guidance we will go the wrong direction
Without Your touch we will never feel warmth
Without Your love we will not be able to give love
Without Your eyes upon us we will not see the difference
