Incarnation… Poem by Anmol Dhaliwal

Incarnation…

Rating: 0.5

Forgive me for taking the sunshine away,
Thy smile once soothed me, has now frayed away,
For devouring the sparkle in your eyes,
For making you feel lost again in time…

The poison that spread has now made hay..
I know you have bled out the love day by day..
Wings of darkness have started to spread,
For now our love will be seized by angel of death..

Immersed in sea of innocence and unending glee,
Destiny swerved its way, I failed to see…
How could fate beguile me of thy pious love?
For wasn’t you and I supposed to love, love and love…

Hours have turned to days; Days would turn to years,
My hands are on my face, I have left some space for tears,
For years to come ill honestly play my part,
This pain will smolder slowly in my heart…

I have been laid to unrest for rest of my path,
Desolated, Burdened for my unintended fault,
See in my eyes its only love that emanates,
For I have not sinned nor my spirit has debased…

An unending faith your eyes transpire,
I’ll be embraced by your fragrance again,
For you will breathe in me, the seasons will change,
My head is unbowed for my love is untamed..

I liked the part about space travel. It really pleases me.
