Indefinable Beauty Poem by Shuaib Saifi

Indefinable Beauty

I trace the light that lingers in your eyes,
And find no language built to hold its gleam.
Your laugh slips past the borders of the wise,
Like music drifting through a sweet dream.

The way you move makes ordinary air
Turn gentle, as if the world has learned to bow.
I try to name the grace you leave there,
And every word I own falls short somehow.

Is it the kindness folded in your smile?
The calm you bring when all the world feels loud?
I count the ways, and still you beguile,
For you outrun the thoughts I'm most endowed.
So let me love what words can never keep —
Your indefinable beauty, vast and deep.
