India From Far Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

India From Far

India,
When to go to,
When shall we be back here?

How is India? ,
Those who live in foreign,
Their sons and daughters ask it often.

But how to say,
How is India like?
But when the plane touches,
They come to feel how it is like!

What is the difference
In heat and dust,
Geography, culture and climate?

But the houses left behind
Do they remain so,
Tidy and clean?

When the plane touches it,
Lands, emotions and feelings vanish they
Grounding in realities to bear the brunt of.

To reckon it within,
Shall we end here as hoteliers and hostellers,
To conclude
Have we really into alien insiders?

India,
Where is India,
How the gap between dream and reality?
