Inevitably Poem by Nina gáspari

Inevitably

In this overpopulated world
Filled with crowded rooms, houses and streets
You have found me
Inevitably
Couldn´t help but share with you
Moments of hope, anguish and moments of truth
When I needed more than a motherly love
Kind words from a friend
You were there, reaching for my hand
When the butterflies around me
Weren´t colorful enough to me
You came, and your love breeze
Made easier for me to breathe
Always lifting my spirit up
Guessing what I was going trough
Seems like there isn´t one thing
I could ever hide from you
I remember promising I would never
Ever look you in the eyes again
That day you disappointed me
I guess my anger wouldn´t allow me to see
How much you mean to me
It´s always been like this
We´re apart at times
We´re close at times
What truly matters is
Your words, affection and existence
Always make me smile
And our bond will be here
For a long time
Inevitably.
