Infinite Separation Poem by Manasi Agarwal

Infinite Separation

Rating: 3.0

Your voice dawned like sunshine on my day
Your laughter tickled the air through the way
Your warmth shielded me from my fears

Weaved hope day by day
Until one day I realized
That it was all, but a dream
Like a maze in the desert

I tried in vain to hide my secret
Hoping that one day it will reach you
Through the warmth in my voice
Alas little did I know what beckoned
You and I were to go separate ways
I walked on…until the distance grew
Bowed to destiny without a fight

And one day our separation became finite
