I'll keep writing
Even as the ink fades,
No matter
If I don't get a response,
Close my eyes
The words will keep
On coming through,
No rest for me,
Even though
It's the end for her,
All twists and turns
Are straight
At some point,
Even if I'm all
Shattered within,
I'll keep it together,
Because I can't fall,
Always stronger
Than yesterday,
But sadder than I'll be
Tomorrow,
Because I don't know
Why I couldn't help her
Stop being lost in her mind,
Thick as these pages may be,
My tears still soak through,
I'll keep writing
Even as my blood thins...
