Inner Light Poem by Keith Muller

Inner Light

Rating: 5.0

Have you ever thought so deep,
that the emotion makes you weep?
Thoughts racing in your cloudy mind,
Mostly somber, never kind.

Have you ever felt so tense,
it fills reality with suspense?
Anxious pressure in your chest,
feelings so dark, it extinguishes zest.

Have you ever felt so low,
knocked to ground by life's big blow?
At this, your darkest hour,
Is where you found you'r super power.

Have you ever just been still,
dug so deep, and found your will?
Faced the mirror, and been kind,
your light then was your magic find.

Have you ever channeled love,
to yourself from God above?
Caressed your fragile inner child,
that was scared, meek and mild.

Have you ever thought you could heal
All the turmoil you use to feel?
You have found your inner light,
Now go forth and shine it bright.
