Innocent Suffer The Most Poem by Pavel Dimov

Innocent Suffer The Most

I came unwillingly to life.
Unwanted was my birth for all.
I was left out of love and hope.
I was left behind to die.

Cold was the world around.
The air torn my chest in breath.
But unwanted even by the death
I was held a ground.

No one was to hear my cries.
For hours no respond in darkness
And no warmth and kindness
Until I fell asleep so tired.
