Inquilab Poem by Jayeeta Bhattacharya

Inquilab

Inqilub

Jayeeta Bhattacharya

When suffering is saturated
The last morsel of grain will call for the revolt
Blood will be spoiled invain
Under the darkness of alley
Moths will gather
The fishes fly in the air
Behind each boat
Sailing across the field
The caterpillar build a new cocoon
The cowboys are now selling themselves at a
Lower price
Lights everywhere
Lost ribbon still
Floats over the stream
The yellow feather falls somewhere
Into the infinity.
We remember
We dreamt for a change
The change we never knew

Alas! We never know
The road towards our home.
