Insanity Poem by Jonelle Babula

Insanity

I told myself this was the last time, the last night
After surviving the attack of the dose
I picked myself up with the help of God
But the evil little part of me shouted No
and pointed me back into the temptation
I simply had no patience

I bought my dailly dose and took it on my way home
Seeing then devil crawl the streets
I panicked and ran very far
Got lost somewhere I have never seen

I was slightly confused
Two directions I knew
Only one would lead the way
Heaven or Hell
Then at the bottom it said
'It's up to you'

I went down the road I chose that I still walk on today
Yet this time I'm not alone

So I leave you hanging with just that saying
But you'll find out the answer
When your on my path
You'll end up there as long as your not bad.
