Insecurity
I was born into the world wrapped in two pairs of loving arms
That promised to protect me
From anything and everything
I was born with a sense that I could be anything and everything
I wanted to be
An astronaut, doctor, circus master
I was born with a fearlessness that shook the world
A certainty I could never be wrong
I was born with a great fear
My insecurity
