Insensitivity Poem by Norchel Tingson

Insensitivity

You taught me how to love.
You taught me how to hate.
You taught me how to be sensitive enough
and too much.

Well, sorry for the too much sensitivity I showed you
but you were showing too much of your inner being's insensitivity also.
I apologize for too much care I gave
but you weren't even able to give half of it.

You told me I was a part of your life.
Don't expect me to believe any of your lies.
You didn't even feel what I felt at that particular moment.
You caused this to end.

You wouldn't think about it.
You wouldn't give any attention to it.
You wouldn't ask me at all.
You wouldn't mind me at all, WOULD YOU?
