Inside Poem by Brian Reaves

Inside

Do you know how bad i feel?
This pain inside that takes my will.
And toss and turns me upside down,
Then changed my life straight all around.
To bring about such drastic change,
And destroyed my fashion fortune and fame.
To take away my inner dreams,
And replace them with those silent screams.
A torment inside I can not escape,
That my will should never break.
To turn my back on all I was taught,
Inside this shell who soul is lost.
To bow my head and pray to GOD,
To change my life and give it cause.
That his will inside be done,
Because his power is the only one.
That can save a wretch like me,
Save my soul and set me free.
From the evil that lies within,
Restore my faith and wash away my sins.
To find the reasons that give me hope,
That once again i am able to cope.
To have the thought before misled,
To see your face as I bow my head.
