Inside A World Lives In Hopes Poem by KATOCH P C K PREM

Inside A World Lives In Hopes

he stretches arms and feels the vast space
a coolness greets as arms turn aside restrictions,
the air is a barricade,
it is also a soothing home as the birds fly
and look at the
man as an ant runs to invisible holes
for earth is a shelter.

strange feelings invade
and he lives in the celestial opening
but none permits to go further…he swirls the arms and legs
feels even air stops somewhere
as it does not give the way to expand.

and a woman picks up
and tells he is small and so ought to cry
it is a fight to get livelihood
it is a ploy to get noticed
even in cries, he smiles and he is told
it is wisdom a child spreads
and contains the cosmos one knows not.
