Inside My Mind Poem by maria reveron

Inside My Mind

Rating: 3.0

Each day that arrives
I feel the essense of my life that goes by
Wondering through the thoughts of my mind

Pain, depression, sorrow all leaks out slowly
Yet I strive for a new day, one that will help me to stay...

Sane is the mark of my will
without I am no one just another run of the mill
I fear the unknown, not knowing where to go or where I shall be

What I want to be is free from my soul
Free from my whole, knowing someday I can have a place to call home
The night comes to me like the dawn of the day
without shape or form in my mind, I struggle to realize

Inside my mind there are so many doors
the keys to unlock the door to my future have been misplaced
Inside my mind I see an ocean so dry
No matter how I try an lubricate my mind
I find the envy of myself engulfed in flame's

There can be only one to blame while the keys are spread about and the oceans are a wonder about, I fear the flames that have ignighted my pasion for life has been made dry

The Moment of now is a past present of a new beggining in time
searching for the right to pass one life's by.
