Inside My Soul There Is A Light Poem by Slobodan Luchezarny

Inside My Soul There Is A Light

Lest I forget that constant fight,
That all we have to run in conscience
(Seems from aside like bloody nonsense) ,
If I am tired of life at once,
Not picking up my lucky chance,
If either friend’s or foe’s words master
My life thus making it disaster,
If my beloved with whom apart
I spend my days don’t keep regard,
If I am lost off all the ways
That’ll lead to sun through gloomy days,
If all I had is now gone,
And even land where I was born
Has changed so much that I would borrow
All gold on Earth to stop its sorrow,
And, as the last, when I don’t trust
All those things that are a must,
Then, only then I feel that light
Again returning vigour, might!
