Inside The Clock Poem by PAUL Anthony Avery Avery

Inside The Clock

I heard a squeak
Could of been any squeak.
But not today.

I prepared a can of worms
Even though thay wouldn't
Taste right'
I still prepared them.
Oblivious to those that choose
To open them.

My mouth was dry' with words
I couldn't swallow
So here I am sharing.

Tick tok.!
How the dust settles
on the forget me nots.
So we clapped our hands.

One glance inside the watch
8 oclock, we all did watch
Inside the clock.
