Insomniac - Poem by devils cab greeter

It's more than just a constant fear
Something that won't disappear
It hurts to fall asleep at night
It's a battle within me I have to fight

...Forever living in a precious nightmare
Where everyone seems happy, it's not fair
Escaping the life that's been betrayed
Eventually, I myself will fade

Gone with the night they said about me
Oh, but if they could really see
The truth to why I'm no longer alive
Was from the love they had deprived
