A gleam of faith, through an open door,
Shines out the darkness of
Every great gloom that stands before
Your path blocking all love.
You simply have to catch this gleam—
An inspiration bright—
Effacing every dreaded beam
Of murk that forms the night.
Live, love and get entangled in
Enigma life thus forms:
Hope for a smile, live with a grin
While following world’s norms.
You need not solve this mystery,
For you form its great part
Yourself; believe in letting glee
Erase your life’s sad chart.
You must be handy with your trust—
Since thunderstorms do strike
Without a notice of their lust—
It’s a device you’d like.
And this device must catch great fire
For verve to live in you—
Give it the flame and the desire
That should in you be true.
