Beneath the skies of California so wide,
Where oceans breathe and redwoods rise,
There walk the dreamers, bold and bright,
Who turn their visions into light.
They paint the dawn with fearless hands,
Build hope across the golden lands,
From busy streets to mountain air,
They lift the world because they care.
Some speak with kindness calm and deep,
Some guard the promises they keep,
Some teach, create, protect, inspire,
And spark in others hidden fire.
They are the voices unafraid
To stand for peace when shadows fade,
To welcome strangers as their own,
And help compassion brightly grow.
California sings through every soul
Who dares to make the broken whole,
Who sees beyond the fear and pain
And plants new dreams like summer rain.
So may their courage always shine
Like sunset gold on coastal lines,
And may the world forever see
How hope becomes humanity.
