•••Instead, I Walk On
Right by the long banks of the stream
Birds singing love in their dreams
With only little light from the many beams
Feeling an emptiness, that nature brings.
If I should name my day's sermon
Today, it should be anger and frustration
Yes, as she rolls her shyness on...
Like a blanket, of course...
Not to be loved by the one I love
So much beauty, I see in her eyes
So much love, I feel in her smile
So much peace, I feel in her hands
As she sang to me in rhyme...
A 'NO'answer in lullaby
Which slammed into sides of my fragile
Heart, but I still have to let it by
For the truth, I gave her all my heart to keep
As I lay myself down to sleep...
For her reply, I swear I can weep
Is this seething some alternative form of release?
But, her heart rejected my love for her
99% percent of my shynees and timidness, I left for her
Nine silvers, I gave up for her
My last song, I sang for her
but none was not enough for her
For her heart, another man has won
But the pain in mine, no man can tell much
She sees me as crazy, 'cause I choose her
And according to her, I'd feel guilty for dating her!
This girl isn't what I've been told she is!
Everything, and love is an illusion. So it is!
If something else has to be done...
Well, let me instead...walk on...
