Intact Poem by Tony Noon

Intact

There is no science to follow here.

There is just observation.
Eyelines free to roam, to ponder
what is hidden behind masks.

Unseen mouths draw glances
as if dangerous words have been
defused or softened by layers.

Leaving first impressions intact.
