Internal Rinse (2004) - Poem by David Joel Rodriguez

The sky has come to take me away
To all, there he goes

The sky has come to take me away
To me, there I rome

The clouds coat me in cotton
Glazed with the scent of rain

The clouds coated me with cotton
Glazed with hints of a past pain

'Now my hands begin to squeeze
A soaked shirt of iron salty sweat
My death fails again noted as a tease
Lifeless on concrete; splashed in red'
