I am the river that flows across the stumbling stones,
I am the soul who sings my silence,
At times in the lullabies of spring
At times in the running delight of a brook.
I am the untamed splendor rising in sky,
Carrying a beauty from the wretched ruins
of all those yesteryears.
I hear the earth singing to me,
I hear the brook babbling to me,
I hear the music in the whispering leaves.
And through the twisting trails of life, I walk,
For I know the bend is not an end.
The dusty trails that seem to lead nowhere,
Yet lead my heart to the shimmer of light.
I am the soul who rolls softly to the sea.
Walking through the brittle ruins,
I carry my heart's timeless rhythm.
Rising from the crumbling grief,
I am the forest. standing in infinite shades of green.
Looking back on life, I am the heart
Who sees through mystery and wonder;
Treading through the twists,
I am the beauty, ablaze with colors.
I am the heart who traveled across the frozen agony,
To the sun- drenched sands of sea.
I am the smell of earth rising from ancient ground,
I am the fragrance emitting from entangled leaves,
I am the green and graceful foliage canopying in sorrowful times,
I am the starlit sky in splendor, that lights in lonesome agony.
In the thick of wintry grief, I am the heart flickering within,
Who feels the blaze in frozen times;
I am the river that runs through rumpled terrains.
