Into The Woods Poem by Ana Liza Corpuz Nabor

Into The Woods

Rating: 5.0

Wandering without her company,
The stillness makes the ambiance so creepy.
She stops; looking around with dread
Then on her way she walks like a walking dead.

Wind blows softly tearing her hardly,
She snaked her body with her arms tightly
Looking above, she's half way to cry
She's trapped! She wishes she could fly.

The sun is ready to bid goodbye
Darkness is waving greeting her "Hi! "
Trees swayed with grace and leaves rustled
Glumly she hold her head really baffled
Asking "Where Am I? "

Night covers the sky,
Neither moon or star in sight from the heavens high
She sobs silently; stood unmoved.
A loud sound hearken "kroook kroook"; she shouts "I need food! "

She opened her eyes looking around,
Strange faces staring sound
No woods, no night nor wind there is.
In a second, a warm liquid she felt at her bottom.
