Invaded? Poem by Nitya Swaruba

Invaded?

A thousand things in a day
Words I don't want to hear
All my peeves put at bay
Bothering me, my brain's seared

Letting in what should be out
Head's filled with things trivial
Work or play is what it's all about
No time for matters real

Just a day's happiness is what I dread
With no clue what comes next
Then the thought just flies from my head
Cause in my hand's where it all rests

The world always tries to do me in
Let the person inside of me out
On a dirty ride, I'm never in
All noise drowned in my silent shout

I let my heart wander wild
Beautiful paths, and crazy sights
There's a leash though all the while
It's my heart, I need it right(?)
