Where can you go
To visit a castle
And actually meet the Duke
Who lives there?

Inveraray

The ancestral home of the
Campbells
The Dukes of Argyll
On the West Coast of
Scotland

Quite amazing that
In the 21st century
You can find the Duke
And his family
Catering to the needs of
The guests who regularly
Visit the castle

And a gorgeous castle it is, too!

Torquhil is the present Duke's name
The 13th Duke
Son of Ian, the 12th Duke and his wife
Iona Colquhoun of Luss

There aren't many clans
That have so effectively preserved
Their ancestral heritage
Across the centuries of history
But the Campbells have managed the feat
Quite well

If you're a Campbell in any branch
Of your family tree
You simply must go

Inveraray is calling
Connect with your clan
Roots

The Duke and Duchess
Are ready to receive you
And welcome you once again
To the seat of your ancestral home.
