Invisible Butterfly Poem by prabhakar bhatlekar

Invisible Butterfly

The gentle flutter
tickled myear
Eyes closed I reclined
on velvet dark time.
This frozen moment I held
under the skin and
nothing more needed.
Tiny wings fluttered again
to tell me something
which I never understood
but the unseen butterfly
never let me be alone.
I smiled and it went flattered.
I admit, unwittingly I was
waiting for it's coming...
I was not startled
by it's sudden presence
and aware of it's invisibility.
I began imagining the
colours of it's wings,
began the embroidery
on velvet dark time.
