Incomplete Poem

They no more keep wondering
as he was not bothersome.
Before that they enjoyed
pausing to watch him.
He would think about them
with compassion.
Poor folks without any piece
of paper in their pocket.
Their breathtaking daily rush
saddened him and he liked
them pointing at him with
curiosity and their whispering.
But it was not too often
when they were too busy with
their own problems.
When no one is around
he would take out a crumpled
paper and read it.
Quite long back he wrote few
words. Nothing more.
The poem left unfinished.
In fact he thought
no poems ever get completed.
As words stuck refusing
to move on bumping on a
pointless full stop...
but it's so exciting to
carry unfinished poem in
pocket and take it out
again and again thinking
words may start moving
to their destined end.
