Invisible Wings Poem by Dr. Harry Hamburger

Invisible Wings

Have wings you cannot see
that will carry you high
if just open your heart
let tears fall from eyes

Must ask forgiveness for sins
that chain to the ground
Heavenly lock will be opened
and make a trumpet sound

We are higher than them
but have forgotten our place
if turn back and look
light will shine from face

Wind will start to blow
and carry your soul up
the rain will come down
and drink from golden cup
