'I'll love you forever',
Is what they all say
Night after night, day after day
How do I know this feeling is true?
How do I know I'm in love with you?
Is it the way you say my name; or is it the way you smile?
Is it the way you make me happy, and feel like I'm worthwhile?

I know our love can't last forever
But I can't picture us not together
I can't imagine you far from me; close together is what I want us to be
I wish I could stop the hands of time; I'd be yours and you'd be mine
I wish I could see inside your heart; I know how you've felt, right from the start
Everytime I hear your name; my pounding heart I try to tame
Everytime I see your face; My throbbing emotions I have to brace
