We the women!
Why are we deprived of the recognition - 'aren't we human?
It's just not in my country alone; if I look around, it seems to emulate around the globe
I get to hear innumerable sad incidents - domestic, torturous and heinous!
How could the feminine wonder express, when their mouths sealed and muted?
We are more or less the threaded puppets dancing to the whim of societal bias!
Since ages, women have been treated as commodities!
History feels embarrassed, as such incidents flood its pages.
We have been exchanged as gifts in the treaties between kings!
And auctioned in the slave markets!
Even today in some places, they have been displayed in glass racks with a price tag!
Shame to the saliva dripping onlookers who take pride in buying someone's helplessness!
Shame to the global military where women were once, used as bed comforters to adorn soldiers of Great War merits!
And then there is the unbelievable FGM - Female Genital Mutilation - a ritual to curve a woman's incestuous moves!
Yuck...! !
Are women born to be punished or nourished?
Just pick up the one and use the way you like, to later throw like a used condom!
Shame on the society!
Men can bite her if they prefer to sharpen their teeth!
Yuck! shameless!
One can squeeze her softness to the last drop according to their whims, just to please men's genital hardness!
Poor hapless victims are women!
When is there an escape for them, from this lustrous misery?
From head to toe, women are bound to cover themselves, while men roam around topless, and at times bottomless too!
Bias! Prejudice! Autocracy … what more to add?
But here doesn't end this pathetic story!
Some human shaped cannibals
don't even spare the female babies cuddled in the cradles!
They find beauty, not in their heavenly smiles,
But in their underdeveloped genitals!
Pathetic!
I am a mother of an eight years old girl;
She is my only child and innocent as a dove;
Till today she has only learnt how to love!
Now it's my turn to teach her about people's good touch and the bad touch!
And also, about the sad fact that the, world is filled with angels and devils who adorn a saintly appearance!
Is there any corner in this world, marked safe for a woman?
No! I don't think so!
I keep getting cold sweats every now and then
How would I protect my daughter throughout her life?
Would I be able to be with her all the time?
Can I die peacefully, being that proud mom who kept a part of her flesh in similar gender safe?
Is my daughter safe?
Poor she, born as a woman too!
