Is This Love? Poem by Mukul Ganesh

Is This Love?

Rating: 4.5

In these instances of fall, an essence of absolute divinity rattles my soul, as her allure tauntingly mocks me beyond sanity and its wall, whilst at her embrace my soul longs to be whole.

A mind patiently losing heed over this night and its odor, descended hath this soul into the quietness of a tranquil trance, whilst in visions of her angelic allure my eyes savor, as this essence of time grants me a moment's glance.

A naïve heart stubborn to look away, in her thoughts I restlessly lay, as emotions erupt impatiently screaming of caution a price it longs to pay, as I descended into a calmness on this mattress of hay.

Love is this door of epiphany, through which my soul hath recklessly advanced, a naïve conscience trapped in its confines of an abstract symphony, braced in the allure of a trance these senses seem enchantingly enhanced.

Nice and very romantic poem written in poetic diction. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
