I want to forgive you but I feel stuck in this hate
This difference exists because you were so great
Impervious before you to those of no grace
Was easy to forgive the atrocities without faith
And, yet, here I am without knowing why
I believed in you and your foolish ways
Expectancy and compassion leading me to try
I am confused and discouraged seeking to cry
Hopeful my tears will release you from the crime
I feel such shame for making you mine
It is thought that wounds will be healed with time
This 3 ringed circus is a perpetual mess
Each year it continues without any progress
Change has not provided proof of stability
Now all I can do Is be the change for how I see
You are either with me or against me, my fate,
Is this love or am I stuck with this hate?
