Island Of The Maji's Poem by Roger Snow

Island Of The Maji's

Rating: 5.0

Island at the end of the Sun
Mentor to the children
of another Moon

Cause Celebrate of the One
Sent her to pretend
and lay as though to swoon

She, Queen of the Azure Skies
Matron of the Pyrenees
Woman of the Majestic,
The Winds of the Valley
flow from her sighs

Scenes of a Magical Time
when flowers would sing
to the Bell Towers Chime

In the Southern Sky
a Star so Bright
as to lead the way
in and out of the Night

Star dance to a Fading Moon
The Island begins it's sleep
as waves flow in
back out
and none too soon
The dreams come with a sweep

All the Majestic
Lay in wait
Watching these two lovers
and to what their Fate
Magical or tragical
The choice their own
When all of Paradise
they call Home

Answer not the questions
of a Suffering Wind
Answer only to the desires
you've within, ,
Life is yours by Grant
not by Dictate of Power
nor the raving of insane Tyrant

Just a little further down the list
we find there written
words soothing and wise
breathless wandering in the Mist
All the Beauty beheld in our eyes.
