When the House grows cold
and no bodies home
for you to hold
and lonely is what you feel
do us a Favor please
and will you call on me
Call on me
In those moments
when things just seem insane
and it takes all you can claim
to just sit and stare
and the need for care, , ,
is strong enough to melt your mind
well, , , Won't you please, , , , ,
please, , , call on me, ,
If ever, you feel you could abide
Having this Loving man by your side
and, can trust my word
Ah woman, ,
just call on me
(second verse)
chasing smiles with a Happy net
catch me some
yeah you just bet
Long tailed Cat on Window Sill
better watch that counter Weight
that window fall
well, gonna hurt like dickens
yes it will
Another day of Further
down this Road
ain't chasing nothing
just loosening up
my heavy Load
Bounce City Rock-a-bye
Keep it happy
don't you even
think to cry
Sittin' Pretty on
a Velvet Sky
Can't catch me
while on the fly
small ain't something
we can fry
so bang your head across, , , , , , , ,
across this lullaby
~~~~ End ~~~
A wonderful song, sir Roger.....10+++++
Thank you Bernard, very much, it's two songs into one, at the bridge, the key changes and the mood as well. First verses are the " Hand and Heart " reaching out to a love to bring her up, Second Verses address the results of the lifting. The Celebration, I guess is a way to say it. Thank you Sir. Hopefully, it will bring light to people who read it. we all need some light at times. Rog'
