Isle Of A Stoic Poem by Nemo Outis

Isle Of A Stoic

I wish to end it all, for good,
so that my tears wouldn't flood away the dearest around me.

I wish to end it all, forever,
so that my morose thoughts wouldn't scare away the memories I lived in.

and then again, I am here writing songs
on my never ending love for melancholy.

I wish not to end this sadness
these lively tears of heart.
As I was told to.
'Let go, of melancholy'
my dearest friend, that bought me closet to myself.
I felt gloomy again, to have her 'Let go'.

She may be painful. She may bring me tears.
She may squeeze my heart out,
strangle me out of breath.

But I want her with me all along,
within my happiness, to tell me not to dwell
on these ephemeral of feelings of joy & love
the ineffable and inexplicable emotions of heart.

and then again, desolation also is, ineffable and inexplicable.

Ahh..! Tears roll down, while I watch that beautiful
'Isle of dead.'(Arnold Böcklin)
